- there’s practically no middle class; you’re either really rich or really poor
- they’re so religious that they sometimes literally nail themselves to crosses and reenact the stations of the cross
- it’s okay to hit a kid if they did something bad
- there are shitloads of people who get hurt/die on New Years because of fireworks (homies never learn)
I don’t know guys, I could go on and on. The PI is just such a different place from the U.S. I’m just glad that both of my parents were wonderful enough to immigrate here in the 80s, meet each other, get married, and have me right here in California, along with my sister.
